Shannon & Venetianism
A leading international authority on Charles Haslewood Shannon is William Carlisle McKeown, Associate Professor at the University of Memphis Department of Art. William McKeown’s illustrated dissertation titled ‘England’s Giorgioni’ explores the influence of Venetianism in Shannons work and the late Victorian art movement.
